This mirrors Claude Code v2.1.219, which also removed Opus 4.7 from fast mode — two independent harnesses retiring fast mode on the older Opus generation in the same week. If you pinned Fast Mode to a 4.x Opus for cost reasons, that path is closing in both tools.
