There are no overage charges; sustained excess moves projects to the Flex CDN tier at the next billing cycle without interrupting service, and teams can revert to pay-as-you-go anytime. Vercel also made Vercel Authentication free on every plan including production domains, replacing the $150-a-month Advanced Deployment Protection requirement, and priced standalone Password Protection at $20 per project per month.
