Ouster released the REV8 OS family on May 4, the first lidar sensor that fuses color and 3D data in hardware rather than software post-processing. Every point is 'born' with color, delivering ultra-low latency and perfect spatial-temporal alignment with 48-bit color depth, 116 dB dynamic range (1 lux to 2M lux), and 10.4M points/sec at megapixel resolution.
