Anthropic Reports 80x Revenue Growth in Q1 2026, Hits $30B ARR — Rents Musk's Colossus 1 Data Center to Cope With Demand
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei revealed the company grew 80-fold in Q1 on an annualized basis, far exceeding its planned 10x growth. Revenue run rate reached $30B (up from $9B at end of 2025), driven largely by Claude Code hitting $1B ARR within six months of launch. The compute crunch forced Anthropic to lease xAI's entire Colossus 1 facility — 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs and 300MW of capacity.
