WSO2 launched Agent Manager in beta on May 5, an open-source (Apache 2.0) control plane for managing AI agents across frameworks and environments. Built on OpenTelemetry, OpenAPI, and MCP, it works with LangGraph, CrewAI, and Ballerina without vendor lock-in. Key capabilities: federated agent management across cloud/on-prem/hybrid, agent identity with authenticated/authorized/auditable access control, and centralized policy enforcement. GA targeted for June 2026. Addresses the Gartner prediction that 40%+ of agentic AI projects will be canceled by 2027 due to insufficient risk controls.
