The House Committee on Homeland Security is hosting Anthropic for a closed-door briefing on Wednesday on the capabilities, national security implications, and policy considerations of Mythos, its cybersecurity model. This is the second congressional briefing in two weeks. Mythos Preview has found thousands of high-severity vulnerabilities including some in every major operating system and web browser. The briefing comes as the White House scrambles to rethink AI policy in Mythos's wake, and the NSA reportedly uses Mythos despite a Defense Department blacklist.
