GitHub is restructuring Copilot into Free/Pro ($10)/Pro+ ($39)/Max tiers effective June 1. Pro and Pro+ get 'flex allotments': base credits matched 1:1 with subscription price plus variable additional usage. Code completions and next-edit suggestions remain unlimited for paid users. The Max plan targets sustained high-volume AI workloads. Existing subscribers auto-migrate.
