Jobs2030: 25 UK Fintech Firms Pledge to Upskill 100,000 Banking Workers in AI by 2030

Innovate Finance joined Zopa Bank, ClearScore, NatWest, Ernst & Young, and 22 other UK fintech companies in the Jobs2030 coalition, which launched a 2026 curriculum aiming to upskill 100,000 banking and fintech professionals in AI by 2030. The first five courses cover applied generative AI for operations, engineering, and compliance teams, with Zopa expecting 6,000-8,000 participants in year one. This is the largest coordinated AI upskilling initiative in the UK financial services sector.
