Recursive Superintelligence Emerges From Stealth With $650M at $4.65B Valuation — Aims to Build Self-Improving AI
Richard Socher's new company Recursive Superintelligence emerged from stealth on May 13 with $650M in funding at a $4.65B valuation, led by GV and Greycroft with Nvidia and AMD also participating. The startup is building a recursively self-improving AI system that can autonomously identify its own weaknesses, design fixes, and implement them without human intervention. Socher says the team expects to ship products within 'quarters, not years,' with a public launch targeted for mid-2026.
