PwC Expands Anthropic Alliance — 30,000 US Staff to Train on Claude Code, Rolling Out to 364,000 Globally
PwC and Anthropic announced a major expansion of their strategic alliance on May 14. PwC will train and certify 30,000 US employees on Claude Code and roll it out to its global workforce of 364,000. The partnership targets three areas: building agentic AI tools for clients, deploying AI across dealmaking, and reinventing operating models. PwC is also launching a dedicated 'Office of the CFO' unit built on Claude for regulated sectors. Dario Amodei cited concrete results: 'Insurance underwriting that took 10 weeks now takes 10 days.'
