Google's May 2026 Workspace update introduces the AI Control Center in the Admin console, giving enterprise organizations visibility and control over which AI agents can access Workspace data. Combined with the Workspace MCP Server (preview) and the gws CLI's 100+ pre-built agent skills, this completes Google's agentic stack: agents can synthesize Drive documents, draft Gmail responses, and manage Calendar — all within a secure, governed framework.
