Ransomware Recovery in Manufacturing: Backup Restoration Is Not Enough

Reframes ransomware recovery in critical manufacturing as a 'minimum viable factory' problem rather than a backup-restoration problem. Production capability depends on coupled IT, OT, physical-process, quality, logistics, identity, and supplier systems — a plant may rebuild servers yet remain unable to schedule work, authenticate operators, trust engineering workstations, or coordinate suppliers. The systematization identifies recovery dependencies that current incident response plans miss entirely.
