Anthropic Mythos Found 10,000+ Zero-Day Vulnerabilities Across Major Systems in One Month

Engadget reports that Claude Mythos, working with ~50 technology partners under Project Glasswing, has uncovered more than 10,000 high- or critical-severity zero-day vulnerabilities including a critical WolfSSL flaw (CVE-2026-5194, CVSS 9.1) that could allow certificate forgery. The model reproduced vulnerabilities and developed working exploits on the first attempt in over 83% of cases. Anthropic has not released Mythos publicly, arguing it would be a 'weapons-grade exploit generator' in the wrong hands.
