Windsurf 2.0 shipped the Devin Local agent (same harness as Devin Cloud but running locally) directly inside the IDE, alongside a Devin Terminal CLI that all Windsurf subscribers can use. Local sessions can hand off to cloud Devin VMs with video recordings, autofix, and testing. In Windsurf's benchmarks, Devin Local is 30% more token-efficient than the existing Cascade agent. The Agent Command Center provides a unified view of local and cloud agents working in parallel.
