AlphaZero-Inspired RL Framework Automates Security Protocol Verification in Tamarin

Presents a reinforcement learning framework inspired by AlphaZero and AlphaProof that automates proof search in Tamarin, the tool used to verify protocols like EMV, 5G, and WPA2. Protocol verification currently requires significant human expertise; this RL approach produces shorter proofs with less effort. Tamarin has previously detected zero-day exploits in real protocols — automating its proof search could accelerate security auditing of new protocols.
