GitHub Copilot CLI Remote Control Hits GA: Steer Terminal Agent Sessions From Phone, Browser, or Any IDE

GitHub announced general availability of remote control for Copilot CLI sessions on May 18. Developers can start a Copilot CLI agent session in the terminal and monitor or steer it in real time from GitHub Mobile, github.com, VS Code, or JetBrains. Now supports non-GitHub repos and bare directories. Enable with `/remote on` in chat input; sessions remain private to the user. This makes Copilot the first major AI coding agent with native cross-device session continuity.
