Claude Code 2.1.152: Skills Get disallowed-tools, MessageDisplay Hook, and Hot-Reload via /reload-skills

Claude Code's May 27 release adds three features that change how skills and hooks interact. Skills can now set disallowed-tools in frontmatter to remove specific tools while the skill is active, enabling safer constrained workflows. A new MessageDisplay hook event lets hooks transform or hide assistant output text in real-time. And /reload-skills re-scans skill directories without restarting the session, making skill development iteration instant. The release includes 33 changes total (8 features, 16 bug fixes).
