Monaco Raises $35M From Founders Fund to Build AI-Native CRM — Pairs AI Agents With Human Sales Experts
Sam Blond (ex-Founders Fund VC) launched Monaco with $35M ($10M seed + $25M Series A) from Founders Fund, with Stripe founders and Y Combinator's Garry Tan as angels. Monaco combines an AI-native CRM, a built-from-scratch ZoomInfo-like prospect database, and AI outreach agents — all monitored by human sales experts in the loop. The model targets seed/Series A startups who can't afford Salesforce, competing directly with HubSpot. Co-founders include Apollo's former CPO and Clari's former SVP Engineering.
