Video-Based Prediction of In-Flight Particle Characteristics in Atmospheric Plasma Spraying

This work uses video-based ML to predict in-flight particle temperature and velocity during atmospheric plasma spraying, a widely used industrial coating process where those characteristics drive coating quality. It is a focused industrial computer-vision regression application with little generalizability to mainstream AI/ML work, included as a low-importance domain example.
