Anthropic Ships Claude Support for Apple's Foundation Models Framework

Anthropic released a Swift package bringing Claude into Apple's Foundation Models framework, letting developers hand typed Swift outputs to Claude for multi-step reasoning, code generation, web search, code execution, and streaming responses in SwiftUI. It works across iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, visionOS 27, and watchOS 27. The integration makes Claude a first-class cloud option under Apple's new LanguageModel protocol, giving Apple developers a native path to Anthropic models.
