KPMG and Microsoft Roll Out Agent 365 Globally to Govern Enterprise AI Agents

On June 9 KPMG and Microsoft expanded their alliance so KPMG will use Microsoft Agent 365 to manage, monitor, and secure AI agents across client organizations under its Trusted AI framework, while deploying Microsoft 365 Copilot across KPMG's global workforce. The deal is an early at-scale example of the emerging "agent governance" layer — the tooling enterprises buy to supervise fleets of agents — moving from product announcement to consulting-led deployment. It marks agent lifecycle management becoming a billable service line, not just a platform feature.
