Claude Code v2.1.76 — MCP Elicitation API Support and Named Sessions

v2.1.76 adds MCP Elicitation support, allowing MCP servers to request structured user input mid-task via interactive dialogs (form fields or browser URLs). Two new hooks — `Elicitation` and `ElicitationResult` — let developers intercept and override these responses programmatically. Also adds `-n / --name` CLI flag for setting session display names at startup, useful for monitoring multi-session agent setups.
