On the Reproducibility of Quantum Software Defect Datasets: A Bugs4Q Case Study
arXiv·low signal
Ohto et al. run a replication study on Bugs4Q, a widely used dataset of real quantum-software bugs, testing whether prior findings about defect-dataset decay (reported bugs becoming non-reproducible over time, as seen in Defects4J) generalize to the quantum domain. The study probes a reliability problem that undermines comparable research results. A reproducibility caution for the growing quantum-SE field.
