talon: Multi-Platform Agentic Harness Running on Telegram, Discord, Teams, and Terminal With Persistent Background Agents
talon is a pluggable agent harness that runs across Telegram, Discord, Teams, and the terminal with swappable backends (Claude, Codex, OpenAI Agents, OpenCode, Kilo), full MCP tool access, and persistent background agents it calls Goals, Heartbeat, and Dream. The always-on background-agent primitives are the interesting part — most harnesses are still request/response. It's a useful reference implementation for builders wanting agents that keep working between prompts.
