As of July 7, 2026, Moonshot's Kimi K2.7 is selectable as a model in Copilot Business and Enterprise plans. This continues the trend of Copilot becoming model-agnostic, letting teams route agentic coding work to a Chinese open-weight frontier model alongside GPT and Claude options. Builders evaluating cost/latency tradeoffs now have K2.7 as a first-class option inside the Copilot harness.
