Microsoft's open-source Agent Framework (the merged AutoGen + Semantic Kernel line, GA'd at v1.0 in April 2026) shipped fresh release activity in early July 2026, including promotion of its github-copilot-sdk dependency to v1.0.0 stable plus additional 1.0 release-candidate rollups. The .NET/Python framework continues hardening as Microsoft positions it as the default enterprise agent-orchestration layer. Worth a version check for teams building on it.
