Anthropic Adds API-Key Expiration and Rotation Controls to the Claude Console

Anthropic now lets you set an expiration when creating a standard or Admin API key in the Claude Console — presets of 3 hours, 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days, a custom duration, or 'Never' — with optional org-level maximum-expiration policies. Emails go to the key's creator 7 days out (keys with ≥14-day lifetime) or 1 day out (≥7-day lifetime); expiration is fixed at creation, existing keys are unaffected, and the Admin API surfaces an expires_at field. A small but concrete secrets-hygiene win for teams running Claude in production.
