Stigmergic Graph Memory: Environment-Aware Many-to-Many Multi-Agent Pickup and Delivery
In many-to-many Multi-Agent Pickup and Delivery, a request names a SKU rather than fixed endpoints, so the controller must pick an agent, source, and destination before planning paths — but existing graph guidance only shapes routing after goals are fixed. Stigmergic Graph Memory uses a stigmergy-inspired shared memory of recent traffic to inform endpoint selection, reducing warehouse congestion. Applicable to fulfillment robotics and any large-scale MAPD coordination problem.
