Xiaomi released its robot foundation model Xiaomi-Robotics-1 (arXiv 2607.15330, GitHub XiaomiRobotics/Xiaomi-Robotics-1), a vision-language-action model pre-trained on 100,000 hours of real-world manipulation data with cross-embodiment post-training for out-of-the-box mobile manipulation in unseen environments. It reports 74.5% average success on RoboCasa — beating RLDX-1, Cosmos Policy, GR00T N1.6, Pi-0.5 and Pi-0-FAST — and a new SOTA 57.6% on RoboCasa365 against a prior best of 46.6%. The HN thread hit 342 points and 229 comments in nine hours.
