ATLAS recovers invariant and transferable latent factors across heterogeneous environments
ATLAS (arXiv 2607.18209) considers multi-environment factor models where high-dimensional covariates come from heterogeneous sources, and separates latent factors that are invariant across environments from those that are environment-specific. The distribution-shift framing matters for agent systems deployed across tenants, regions, or customers where a model tuned on one environment silently degrades on the next. Statistical rather than applied, but the invariance/transfer split is the right decomposition for multi-tenant agent evaluation.
