Skillfile is a Rust-based package manager for AI agent skills, using a single declarative Skillfile manifest and Skillfile.lock (pinned to commit SHAs) to install skills simultaneously across Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, OpenCode, and GitHub Copilot. It indexes 110,000+ community skills from three registries (agentskill.sh, skills.sh, skillhub.club) with security scoring filters. At only 11 stars currently but v1.2.1 just released March 14, this is the first serious attempt to bring npm-style reproducibility and cross-platform parity to the currently fragmented AI skill distribution ecosystem.
