Alibaba Launched QwenWork, Folding Three Existing Agent Platforms Into One and Embedding It in DingTalk's 20M Organizations
Alibaba unveiled the QwenWork public beta on August 3 — a workplace agent platform built on the core capabilities of its existing Qoderwork, Mulerun and Wukong products, available via web and a desktop client with direct local-machine access, and soon embedded inside DingTalk, which serves more than 20 million enterprises. Pricing is subscription plus a credit system across two editions, with four selectable model tiers (Economy, Basic, Advanced, Flagship) so buyers pay by task complexity rather than by seat. The tiered-model-as-price-lever design is the notable architectural move: it turns model choice into the billing dial, which is a different answer than per-token or per-resolution.
