Across two consecutive Product Hunt leaderboards, three unrelated teams shipped products whose entire pitch is that you should not be locked to one agent harness: AgentSky at #1 on August 3 (cloud-hosted, any harness, any LLM, clone your local agent up), Lumichats at #4 on August 2 with 201 points ('a Claude Code alternative for people who avoid the terminal', 40+ models switchable mid-session), and Termexo at #8 on August 2 with 112 points ('a local Windows workbench for Claude Code and Codex'). Databricks made the same bet at the enterprise tier with Omnigent, its meta-harness that wraps Claude Code, Codex and Pi behind one API with cost-budget and permission policies. The pattern worth naming: the harness — not the model — is where lock-in is forming, and a portability layer is now a fundable product category at consumer, prosumer and enterprise tiers simultaneously.
