Simetrik Wrapped an Autonomous Agent Around a Deterministic Reconciliation Core, Plus MCP and a CLI
Simetrik launched Simetrik Agent on August 3, an agent that interprets a financial-control request in natural language, reviews the working environment, integrates sources, identifies dependencies, then configures, implements, reconciles and analyzes exceptions without human intervention. The architectural detail worth copying is that the agent decides when to delegate to a deterministic core for an exact, auditable result versus when to escalate to a person, which is how it satisfies audit while still being agentic. It also shipped an MCP server so customers can drive Simetrik's reconciliation logic from Claude, Copilot or Gemini agents they already run, plus a CLI for wiring controls into CI/CD. The company reports 180+ companies across 50+ countries processing 2.5 billion daily records.
