Profound Launched With $1.5M to Give Every Professional an AI Rep That Negotiates With Other AI Reps
Ex-Cleartrip CBO Anuj Rathi and ex-Delhivery tech head Prashant Parashar came out of stealth August 4 with Profound, a $1.5M seed led by Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital with angels including Swiggy CEO Sriharsha Majety, Razorpay CEO Harshil Mathur, Kunal Shah and Zomato cofounder Pankaj Chaddah. The product gives each professional an 'AI Rep,' and the stated end state is Reps transacting with each other for discovery and trusted introductions - which is an explicit attempt to replace the professional-network graph rather than layer AI onto it. Profound targets 1 million professionals onboarded within a year ahead of broader beta.
