Jamie Dimon Is Recruiting 40+ Companies Across Energy, Water, Telecom and Rail Into a Cross-Industry AI Risk Alliance
Reuters reported on August 5 that JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon is personally calling banking and technology CEOs to build an industry group on AI risk, having already approached more than 40 firms spanning energy, water, utilities, telecommunications, airlines and railroads. The effort grew out of the Alliance for Critical Infrastructure, which JPMorgan co-founded with Mastercard, and aims to establish shared understanding of AI usage, risks and safeguards while engaging the Trump administration. Recent cyberattacks on water systems in Minnesota and other states are cited as the trigger for broader cross-sector information sharing.
