AWS Publishes an OpenTelemetry Pattern for Measuring Codex Adoption, Consumption and Reliability
AWS Machine Learning Bloglow signalThe post routes Codex's OpenTelemetry metrics through a local collector into Amazon CloudWatch so engineering leaders can see who is actually using the coding agent, how much they consume, and how often it fails. It is a direct response to the fact that coding-agent rollouts are being funded without any telemetry proving usage. Worth noting the asymmetry: the observability story for coding agents is currently being written by the cloud vendors, not the agent vendors.
