The HumanAIGC team released Wan-Animate-2 inference scripts plus Base and Distillation model weights on August 7. The framework feeds driving videos directly into a redesigned Diffusion Transformer, eliminating intermediate motion extractors to improve identity preservation, and adds text-driven viewpoint control that decouples output camera perspective from the driving video.
