openclaude Switched Its Plan-Mode Default to GPT-5.6 Sol and Added Loopback Proxy Hosts That Preserve Subscription OAuth
Gitlawb/openclaude (30,604 stars, 8,907 forks) committed `feat(codex): move codexplan default to GPT-5.6 Sol` today, adopting OpenAI's July 9 flagship coding variant as its planning default. Its v0.27.0 release on July 30 added opt-in loopback proxy hosts that keep subscription OAuth auth intact — the mechanism that lets a third-party harness route through a local proxy without dropping you to pay-per-token API billing. Today's other commits refactor the OpenAI shim into separate dispatch, request-preparation and response-adapter layers.
