Claude Code 2.1.227 fixes every Bash command failing under `claude-code-action` when `allowed_non_write_users` is set on GitHub-hosted runners. If you run Claude in GitHub Actions with that permission model and your automated jobs have been failing on shell steps, the fix is a version bump, not a workflow rewrite — pin `claude-code-action` to a version resolving 2.1.227 or later.
