Claude Code March 17: PreToolUse Hook Security Bypass Fixed + Opus 4.6 Output Raised to 128K
Releasebot·high signal
Today's Claude Code release patches a critical security bug where PreToolUse hooks returning 'allow' bypassed deny permission rules — including enterprise managed settings. The default max output tokens for Opus 4.6 are raised to 64K with a new ceiling of 128K, and a new /copy N command copies the Nth-latest assistant response. A --resume race condition that silently truncated recent conversation history was also fixed.
