Vercel makes Enterprise Managed Users generally available, putting the IdP in control of every account on a verified domain
Shipped 2026-08-11, EMU makes an organization's identity provider the single source of truth for Vercel accounts tied to its verified domains: mandatory SAML SSO for managed users, automatic provisioning and deprovisioning through Directory Sync, and centralized profile management, toggled on in Team Settings. It requires an Enterprise plan, enforced SAML SSO, active Directory Sync and at least one verified domain. Still in by-request beta are the migration paths — guidance for converting existing personal accounts to managed status and automatic archival of inactive personal accounts — which is the part that actually determines how painful adoption is.
