Monashees Is Deploying a $370M Fund From San Francisco Because 'If You're Not Here' You Can't Track the AI Frontier
Crunchbase News published an August 11 Q&A with Monashees, the São Paulo firm founded in 2005 that opened Mexico City in 2022 and San Francisco in September 2025, now finishing deployment of a $370M fund across roughly 35 companies at 8–10 new investments a year. Partner Quinzaños expects about 30% of the portfolio to be LatAm-born companies expanding globally and about 20% to be US-based outright. The portfolio itself is the disruption signal: Tractian (AI-native preventive maintenance, now headquartered in Atlanta), Music.AI (50M+ users), Yuno (payment orchestration with agentic fraud prevention), Flash (Brazilian HR platform), and Shiva, an accelerator explicitly built for the solopreneur wave.
