Cursor Cloud Agents Get Prebuilt Environments — 3x Faster Time to First Token

On 2026-08-13 Cursor shipped "builds" for Cloud Agents: environments are prepared in the background so agents boot into a ready workspace instead of setting up from scratch each session. Cursor reports 10x faster environment boot internally and 3x faster time to first token, with automatic fallback to the last successful build when a build breaks, plus a dashboard tab for build history and debugging. It is on by default for new environments, opt-in for existing ones, and included at no extra cost.
