ppt-master Compiles LaTeX Straight to OMML — Editable PowerPoint Math With No Pandoc and No Image Rendering
Released 2026-08-13 (its second release that day, after v4.6.0 nine hours earlier), ppt-master v4.7.0 (46,751 stars) makes formulas real native PowerPoint math objects instead of pictures: a strict LaTeX subset is validated and compiled directly to OMML with no Pandoc, no raster rendering and no external service, exporting as Office 2010+ TextMath and failing closed on invalid input rather than degrading silently. Same-paragraph formulas compile to inline `m:oMath` runs inside the surrounding DrawingML paragraph so a sentence with a mid-sentence symbol stays one sentence, and hyperlinks became real click relationships that round-trip. Image-rendering fallbacks were removed from both generation modes, making this the default path rather than an option.
