OpenHands 1.13.0 ships a context-window usage meter with manual compaction, plus client-side conversation archiving
The August 13 release adds a context window usage meter, a usage drawer, and manual compaction — making context budget a visible, operator-controlled resource rather than something that silently auto-compacts mid-task. Other additions include client-side conversation archiving, inline markdown artifact previews, and a ready-for-dev issue readiness gate with type-specific criteria. Notable fixes: automations now surface non-MCP-installable integrations instead of silently dropping them, launcher services spawn without an implicit shell, and the basic LLM provider list no longer truncates at 100 entries.
