Young Adults Distrust Every Major AI Executive — Karp at 81% 'Don't Trust', Nadella the Best of a Bad Field at 35% Trust
A CNBC Generation Labs survey of over 1,000 US adults aged 18–34 found that for all nine AI figures tested, the large majority said they do not trust them to act responsibly on AI. Palantir's Alex Karp bottomed out at 81% distrust; Satya Nadella scored best and still only reached 35% trust, with Amodei, Altman, Musk and Pichai in the 70–75% distrust band. Notably AI itself — and even data centers — polled better than the executives, and 45% said AI will hurt their careers while 40% want federal regulation.
