cursor/plugins defines the .cursor-plugin/plugin.json manifest and ships Cursor-authored plugins including Thermos (deep security and correctness audits with parallel subagents), Continual Learning (incremental transcript-driven AGENTS.md memory updates from high-signal bullets only), Ralph Loop (iterative self-referential loops), CLI for Agents (patterns for CLIs agents can run reliably: flags, examples, idempotency, dry-run) and PR Review Canvas. The repo was created 2026-01-23 but was pushed 2026-08-19 and picked up 473 stars today to reach 3,867, so the marketplace push is happening now. It puts Cursor's plugin format head-to-head with the agent-skills format most of this week's other repos target.
