Anthropic ships a 'Concise' output style for Claude Code and launches Claude Academy on the same day
On August 20 Anthropic shipped a built-in Concise output style for Claude Code, answering long-running complaints about verbose status narration during agent runs, and separately launched Claude Academy, a learning hub with courses, tutorials and badges. The two together read as a push on adoption friction rather than capability. For anyone running Claude Code in a pipeline, the concise style is the more useful of the pair since agent chatter is pure token cost in an unattended run.
