Anthropic Ships a Second, Structure-Aware Browser Tool Alongside Computer Use GA
The Aug 19 platform release notes take computer use GA as `computer_toolset_20260801` (no beta header, batch actions per turn, `zoom` on by default) and add a separate `browser_toolset_20260801` client toolset. The browser tool drives a browser your application hosts and reads the page itself, its accessibility tree, elements, forms and tabs, adding element references, form input, tab management, download reporting and opt-in file upload on top of screenshot-and-click. Both run on Fable 5, Mythos 5, Opus 5, Sonnet 5 and Opus 4.8.
